O Professor Rui Costa Neto, Docente da Faculdade de Engenharia, tem trabalhado no desenvolvimento de Sistemas Eficientes de Armazenamento de Energia (Elétrica e Térmica), mais especificamente na análise da viabilidade técnica e económica do Hidrogénio. Neste particular, como afirmou, são evidentes as vantagens da utilização e implementação de sistemas de armazenamento com base no Hidrogénio como futuro substituto dos combustíveis fósseis em vários tipos de transporte, nomeadamente o ferroviário, rodoviário, marítimo e aéreo.

Professor Elói Figueiredo from the Civil Engineering Department of Lusófona University and Researcher at DREAMS won the 2021 Best Paper Award of the Computer Vision and Laser Vibrometry Technical.
This award is sponsored by Trilion Quality System and was established to recognize authors of outstanding papers presented at IMAC. Papers are judged for their value as contributions to existing knowledge of computer vision and optical techniques and primarily with respect to their value as an original contribution to the subject matter.
The winning paper is titled “Full-Field 3D Experimental Modal Analysis from Dynamic Point Clouds Measured Using a Time-of-Flight Imager”.
